Does the job
We have the pro version and the balls that came with the set were wonderful. That is until the teenagers didn’t listen and kept pulling on them to take them off the bar and the sand that weighed them down started coming out. I could not find the pro bolas for a reasonable price so I grabbed these. They are much heavier and the string is longer and thinner. I tried them out a few times and they will take getting use to. I will update in a month after lots of use.

Great Price for replacements
I purchased a ladder ball set from Walmart the other day. Took it out to play with company and one of the ladder balls string was too short to even throw it..I was happy to find replacements that were all the right size string and brand here on line so the game can continue!

Death Balls
These are dangerous and very poorly made. We have had ladderball for years and needed replacement bolas. I bought this set based on the reputation of the Franklin brand. They looked fine, but as soon as we started to play with them, the rope came out and the golf ball-hard balls would go rogue and hit other things. No sooner would we repair one, by reinserting and knotting the rope, than another would fly off the rope while being tossed to the ladder. As if that wasnât bad enough, the rope then began to do a crazy thing I donât have a photo of. The rope is a tighter weave rope in its center with a looser weave around the center. The looser weave released itself from within the ball and slid up the center part of the rope. I had guests visiting from out of town and these ruined ladder ball for us while they were visiting. Now Amazon is making me return these lousy stringless balls without a box to Staples in order to get a $12.00 refund. It is wrong! I would give them less than 1 star were it possible.

These are actually like golf balls. The ones that came with the game set I bought were large and rubber. Bad tossing experience. These are great.

When these arrived I realized they’re not a soft plastic but a hard plastic so I tried to return for fear of someone or something might get hit/hurt with this harder plastic but this seller had me just keep them & refunded me. I’ll use them for a back up set.

Needed to replace the ball sets that came with our ladder toss game. The original set the plastic broke up after years of use and exposure to the sun.These ones seem to be good quality and we hope they last for a few years.

First day using these and the balls came off the end of the cord. The cord comes tied with a knot but as you use them, the weight of the balls tightens against the knot and eventually the cord passes through. I tried a double knot but that makes the cords shorter by at least an inch each end .. shorter than the recommended length. So I put the ball back on, folded the knot and melted it a bit using a lighter. This makes a hard knot. Not sure how long this will last. Upon failure I will look for a different cord and maybe use a small washer to provide a more secure knot restraint.
