Good set, fun game!
I got these for a company summer party and was quite pleased. Since it was my first time buying ladderball sets, I got several different types to see which kind I liked best. I got 2 steel sets and 2 PVC. My favorite was the Franklin Sports Steel Ladderball set.It is very easy to assemble and disassemble. It is light and easy to carry. The bag it came with was very handy.We used the sets to set up a ladderball golf course – 9 sets at intervals, each with its own silly rule (like throw while on your knees or singing a song). We played in teams of three, with each person getting three throws. So the set had between 10-20 people making 3 tosses at it, each with a different type of balls (some had the golf ball kind, others had a sort of inflated rubber kind). The sets stayed upright and undamaged through all of the abuse.I didn’t care for the balls that came with this set (they are kind of rubbery instead of the more common golf ball type), but they worked fine and were plenty durable. Overall I liked this set a lot and love the ladderball game 🙂

Great game
We had so much fun playing at my daughterâs graduation. The metal game is so nice and durable. Made very well and did not fall over while we were playing. Easy to set up and break apart again. Comes with a travel bag if you want to play anywhere. The balls and rope are made well too and we played a lot in the rain.

Family Fun
We got burnout on playing cornhole, so this was a fun way to mix up our backyard games and camping trips. My whole family loves it, easy for all ages. Weâve had them for a couple months now and they are sturdy, hold up well and are easy to take with you.

Great ladder, terrible bollos
The ladder construction is rock solid and high quality. It was very easy to assemble. Unfortunately the bollos are extremely cheap and after the first use they started to leak sand. We don’t see an option to contact the seller to replace just the bollos, and I’m not interested in completely returning the entire set when the only problem is the bollos.

Great set
This is a nice, high quality ladderball set. It does take a bit longer to set this up than press together PvC sets – but the assembled rack is more stable and better quality.Highly recommend.

I bought these a few months ago for my daughterâs family – her husband and their four-year-old son love playing it and it gets used when other family comes over. Itâs been used quite a bit and is holding up well.

This is really sold and well made. The screws are exceptionally heavy duty. This was easy to assemble. It is so much better than the plastic game with which I replaced this one. The stand is very sturdy. I’m 100% satisfied!

My adult kids loved this after thanksgiving diner. Soft balls. Funfor everyone. A real challenge at first.

This is a great game! I love that you can order replacement parts from the company’s website as well, one of the parts had slightly warped threads when I received it (Amazon’s customer service was excellent to deal with and gave me a solution I was happy with) so will have to order a new part but they are very reasonably priced so I’m not too bothered by that. Being metal and having the knob screws to put it together instead of plastic joints like some other models makes me think this set will last a long time. Love that it comes with a carrying case, makes it easy to throw into the car when going camping or to the beach.

I love the game, and itâs sturdy and easy to use, but this summer when we pulled it out of the shed, the rope on the bolloâs had disintegrated and turned to dust. When we threw them, you could see the rope âsheddingâ more powder. God knows what kind of toxic dust we were inhaling!We have thrown out the bollos and now have to buy new ones⦠Not. Cool.

This set is solid and durable – easy to assemble / disassemble and comes with a carrying case.Spend the extra money for this steel version as there are many reviews about plastic versions that break after first use. Such a fun game to play!

I wanted this game for activity while camping and also the backyard.The game is fun requiring teams to throw their “bolo” balls at the ladder rack for points.I wanted a stable rack that would stand up to packing and unpacking at camp and during activity so this eliminated the plastic ones. I liked the wooden ones but had some concern about being left out in the rain.With this metal one my concerns of erosion are gone. It is strong and well made. My only concern was the weight. Thanks to other reviewers who said the weight is not bad so I bought it and am happy. It does weigh more than plastic but is twice as strong.Pros; Easy to assemble.Won’t rust or swell from moisture.Will take a lot more abuse without breaking.Cons; A bit more weight than plastic.More hardware pieces that may get lost.Metal will cost more than plastic.Recommended
