My own theme park fan
My family calls this my Cedar Point Fan. It reminds me of those misting fans that are in lines at theme parks to keep you cool as you wait in line for a ride. On hot summer days, i just sit in a chair on the patio and have this blowing mist on me. My wife laughs because i will be half soaked by this fan, and half dry facing the sun. Now the toddler loves it in the summer. Definitely recommend if you need a fun and easy way to cool down in the summer. And for parties/cookouts, this fan with the mist on, will drop the temp in the area by a good amount, keeping under a pergola very comfortable.

Wish it were designed better
I misty fan is good, but after 5 minutes it sprung a leak. My neighbor is an engineer whohelped me assemble the fan and tried to repair the leak, which is obvious. Them small host that feeds thewater into the sprayer cannot handle the pressure of the water from a garden hose. The engineer attemptedto push the little pipe further in, but it is not secure enough to hold back the leak.

Pretty Solid Choice for Fan Mister
I live in the south and having a fan outdoors is a MUST and the extra misting option makes sitting outside in the summer tolerable. The misting option feels great, but it drips, no matter the speed its on. Still, I have recommended this fan to LOTS of people.

Well made.
Was easy and quick to put together. Very quiet with several fan speeds. Itâs great that you have the option to turn on one, two, three or none of the spray nozzles which works great on a wide mist spray. Nice and sturdy fan with long water line with built in shut off valve and a nice built in GFI plug in. Keeps you cool while laying out in the hot sun.Randy

Savior Fan for Desert Living
Climate change has greatly affected my outdoor living in Arizona. Moving to a higher elevation location 20-years ago was intended to avoid the high heat of the greater Phoenix desert. Now, the summer temperatures have risen from highs in the 95 degrees to frequent over 100 degrees. This fan has made it possible to sit in the shade with its cool mist and make our outside patio tolerable in the summer.

Goo so far
I purchased this because I saw them everywhere when I was out in the Denver area. They really cooled things down out there. However, here in Maryland with the humidity, they aren’t as effective. I turned this on before a party on my deck to cool things down and when I came back 1/2 hour later, all my deck furniture was soaking wet. This was with only 1 mister going. I probably could have watered the lawn if all 3 were on. This definitely isn’t as effective unless the climate is dry.

Just Ok
my first Holmes outdoor pedestal fan lasted twenty years! In rain, sun, and Florida weather. When it finally went kaput, I ordered this one. Itâs Ok.. but not as great as I expected. All the little parts ( nuts, screws, etc) were not bagged and labeled separately. The power cord is very short..less than 6 feet. The instructions say assembly should take 5-10 minutes. Thatâs ridiculous unless done by a âfan assembly engineerâ. I had a younger family member, ( who is an engineer), help me put this rather heavy thing together. 25 minutes.. This new fan also does not blow as powerfully as my old, 20 year-old fan did. I didnât really want the whole â mistingâ thing, but the fan wasnât offered without it. So, all in all, itâs Ok. I hope it lasts 20 years too.
