Very Basic – but that’s OK
You need to know in advance that this is a very small, very basic bare bones type grill. You don’t really want this as your full-time grill, unless you have a small balcony and it’s the only way you can grill food (when a standard size BBQ kettle grill is just too big). We use it in conjunction with our gravity-fed wood pellet smoker/grill, and another traditional kettle grill. It’s good for grilling different things while you’re slow-cooking other food. I like using this especially for fire-roasting peppers that we will stuff with things. We don’t need to roast that many at one time. Just use the basic portable grill, fire roast them (the design works well for that), and then store them in a ziplock bag until you can remove the skins. It won’t be the most sturdy or well constructed grill you have, but it will definitely work as far as something portable and designed to grill smaller batches of things. And as far as value, it’s only $40 so it’s hard to beat that overall.
