Such an amazing conversation piece for your office!
After reading some reviews I was leery to buy this thinking it was a gimmick and wouldn’t perform as described. Thankfully I take reviews with a grain of salt as I was extremely impressed with this product. I will start by confirming the negative reviews that it does not make a perfect sand dune scene every time you rotate it. You also have to nudge it a little by rotating it the direction that you want it to drop down to. Sometimes when you rotate it the sand will fall down in one chaotic scene and not make the pretty dunes. It can be a little top heavy so do not place this on a table that is not sturdy as it will probably fall over. These were the negative reviews that I think make this the most custom art piece you can ask for!The first day I had my boss and coworker mesmerized and had to tell them to get back to work and stop watching the sand fall as it is extremely peaceful to watch. If you want something that is soothing and is guaranteed to start and keep a conversation going then you want to own this piece. The packaging was robust and came perfectly intact and will be a staple of my office for when I have customers or suppliers over. Great purchase!

Exactly what I wanted!
I ordered this with some skepticism after seeing the bad reviews. Honestly if yours arrived intact and itâs ânot workingâ then itâs probably YOU and not the sandscape! There are very specific instructions on the Amazon listing for how to get it to work properly. Unfortunately there are no instructions in the box for some reason. Hereâs how to use it:1. The most important step! Let it sit for 10 MINUTES before you attempt to turn it upside down. This lets the tiny particles of sand and glitter to compact down and then it wonât just go gushing down when you flip it.2. After you let it settle, hold it so the glass is facing up. Perpendicular to the ground. Horizontal. You get what I mean.3. Now you can turn it vertically and set it in the stand. Some sand will fall quickly but the rest will fall more slowly.4. If it seems stuck, turn it just a little bit in the stand until itâs flowing again. You can manipulate it somewhat to where the sand goes.5. When itâs done, donât forget to wait 10 min again before turning it over :-)The stand is not very sturdy compared to the weight of the actual item. It is a bit wider than the ring so be careful. I wouldnât let a child play with it. It does not come with a syringe, and doesnât say in the listing that it does (it just tells you how to use a syringe). I didnât need one anyway.All in all, I am impressed with this mesmerizing object! If it breaks or leaks I will update this review.

Lots of Fun
I gave it to my sister she had fun and uses is as a time burner but the one i got had less bubbles than the one advertised leading to the sand falling often too fast for mountain ranges and such to appear distinctly like in the image and video.

Pretty on the shelf
Lovely sand sculpture. However, wish it looked more like the picture. Mines have less gold color. It’s more black, white and gray. There’s a little gold color.

Cheap version of a quality sand art piece
If you really want a quality sand art piece, skip this one. This will not perform like the photos in the reviews. What you will get is a lot of bubbles which results in sand getting stuck at the top in the air pocket and never falling, or all sand falling at once, even after letting it settle for 30 minutes. It will never form peaks like the fake pictures depict. I don’t blame the mfg. They are just selling a two-dollar unit for a markup. That’s what you’re buying. Spend the extra dollars on a more premium piece and you’ll be much happier. I bought this as a gift for my husband and it’s going right into the recycle bin since it’s past the return period. I’ll look for a good quality item to replace this with.

Needs more information to work properly
Itâs a great product and works well when the bubbles are correct. Getting them to be correct is the challenging part with no instructions besides use a syringe to add or subtract bubbles. What size syringe? It wouldâve been helpful to include one or specify the size. Five stars for the product and one star for the instructions and the necessary information to make it work properly. Overall three stars.

Every day is a new lovely scene!
I love how every time I turn this over, I have a new beautiful mountain scene to look at. The sand falls in a slow and mesmerizing way, and every time I look at it, there is something new and lovely happening. It is relaxing to watch as it is forming its new creation, I don’t know how anyone could ever get tired of this. I would highly recommend this for anyone who likes a change of scenery created right in front of them!

The product itself is good, as per description, fun as a desktop display, materials are okay but could be better. However, only 3 stars as seller or packing team sent the wrong colour, not the one I had ordered. Can’t bother returning.
