Purple Leaf Customer Service Review
I am actually writing a review of the Purple Leaf Customer Service. I had ordered this umbrella. I decided I wanted a different product. I tried to cancel my order with Amazon but was told it was to late and I would have to work directly with Purple Leaf Customer Service. I contacted customer service and they had already shipped my order. Customer service asked why I wanted to cancel my order. Upon explaining my issue they offered me a reduced price to keep the item. I refused their generous offer and said I wanted to return the product. Purple Leaf made arrangements to return the product, paid the shipping. cost and gave me a full refund. I then ordered a different umbrella from Purple Leaf. I am so thankful to Purple Leaf for the way they worked to resolve my issue.

Does not come with a base!!!!! EDITED.
I looked again and didn’t see anywhere that it does not come with the base!!! Now I have to spend another $200 just to get a base so I can even set it up. Pictures sure show it with the base. I am contemplating sending it back.Edit….. After posting my review I was contacted by PURPLE LEAF who offered to make it right. After a few days a new weighted base was delivered. Now my umbrella is up and all is right with the world! Great umbrella and great shade! Giving it 5 stars for sure! Would give it more if I could. Customer service is outstanding.

Highly Recommend!
Highly recommend this product! It is so sturdy and it blocks our whole patio. What I love is you can move it up and down left and right to be able to block the sun at all times. We had it out all summer long and there was no color fade. The bag that goes over the umbrella is super easy and anyone can put it on. At first I was like how am I going to get this over the umbrella I’m to short, but there is a metal piece in the lining that you hold and the bag just wraps right around easy peasy .

My Umbrella is Bigger!
It’s BIGGGGGG! This umbrella is bigger then the one I have for my koi pond. Absolutely need to make sure everything is out of the way when opening. My 12×14′ deck is a little small and hits the railings. Only thing I would recommend is having two tie backs for upper and bottom of the umbrella. Wasps were already making a nest sneaking up the pollen. Material is thick, value for money paid and easily put together. Make sure you have a small rachet set for tighten of screws.

So much shade!!!!
I put up this umbrella last week for our above ground pool and it has helped so much with blocking the sun. I do recommend ordering the weighted piece, if not, I used 4 sand bags and there are holding it down. It is so wonderful to have a shade in the pool and also on the outside. I will be ordering another one for the other side

Great umbrella and well built. I replaced a similar model I bought from home Depot and this is way better quality and design. Just keep in mind you will need to purchase a base for it if you don’t already have one.

What a great umbrella. I was worried at first I would have to put it together BUT it can completely assembled other than the base. What a great product. Extremely well made and looks like it will last for years.
