How does it work?
Cool air comes in the bottom vents to feed the fire and enters between the two layers of stainless steel to be heated up. Having cool air come in the bottom vents allows the fire to always plenty of oxygen. Since more oxygen can reach the fuel source, fire wood is burned more efficiently than traditional fire pits. The air that enters the double wall warms up and is pushed out over the fire. This creates a second burn that burns off the small particles of wood that would have been smoke.

Great fire pit! Pretty much smoke free. We donât smell like fire after hanging out by the fire pit like a regular one. Lightweight and easy to move around. Will be ordering some of the accessories.

Although I love my solo, I really wish it gave off more heat. I have to be really close to it to feel the warmth. I do love that itâs smokeless.

Worth the money
These things are amazing! The Solo stove is one of the few products left where you really do get what you pay for! Starting a fire take just minutes and it burns so hot that everyone near it will stay warm. We built a small stone surround which finished it off perfectly. Set up literally takes minutes.

Works very good! Easy to clean out ashes and does burn cleaner leaving ashes in the bottom! Gutted my gas fireplace and put this inside! Works great !

Easy start and must have for camping.
I have only used it once, but from that experience Iâm wondering why I waited. The fire was easy to start and I canât wait to use it when I go camping. Fires are always a hassle to start, but the Solo Stove draws the fresh air so well that the initial fire was easily and quickly started. I would definitely recommend buying this product. I got the medium size âbonfire â model.

Yup it is a costly fire pit, but if you like the contemporary looks and colours (we went for green), it works well as a smokeless unit once it has warmed up (approx. 15mins of smoke).
