great for travel or on the go
This is great to carry around and I feel like I donât draw too much attention when I am vlogging in public. It does stretch really tall and Iâm able to get a lot of good angles because of this. The overall quality of this tripod has been great and I love that it is sizable just for my hand and on the go. videos have shown a significant increased and quality as I donât have to worry about the stability.

UPDATE – As I suspected it was user error (mine) that kept the device from working. Customer service did finally get back to me, and we figured out what I had wrong. There is a software selection on the camera to allow remote bluetooth control. This is not in their instructions but once enabled everything now works great. Definitely DO recommend purchasing this tripod now.While perusing for a table top tripod, this came up as an option. It has a brother at half the price (same mfr) but without bluetooth, so I thought the extra $$ would make it convenient to snap a picture, or start/stop video. After following the instructions, and SUCCESSFULLY connecting to my camera (Sony ZV-E10), I couldn’t get a single button on the handle to do anything at all. Wrote customer service asking for help and got back crickets, so after 3-4 days waiting decided to post so others don’t have the same bad experience. Seems to be a nicely built device, but it DOESN’T WORK.

Ball head isn’t that tight, but overall fine with small cameras or phones
It would get a 5 star raiting if the ball head would tighten properly. i will NOT (and would not recommend to), use this with anything larger than your basic phone. I’m using it with the Canon v-10 powershot camera, which is a tiny camera meant for vlogging, and is smaller than an average phone, and about the same weight. Anything larger, the ball head doesn’t tighten enough to hold it up, but this smaller camera, and a phone, it holds just fine. I’m afraid it’ll start to wear out fast though. If it does, I will come back and update this review.

Perfect as a tablet/phone stand
Pair this with a “Metal iPad Holder for Tripod Mount” or similar and youâve got the perfect lightweight tablet/phone stand. The ball-joint makes it easy to make micro-adjustments, and it’s plenty tall. Youâll want a Bluetooth keyboard, and perhaps a mouse (or use your phone as a trackpad via free apps). Works great on the road, or if you have a macbook, prop up your iPad for use as an extended display.

TURN ON BLUETOOTH REMOTE FUNCTION
The build is very compact and sturdy.. The instructions are not very clear. You cannot just connect to your camera and expect it to work. After connecting, you also have to turn on the bluetooth remote function in your camera’s menu to allow control.

The ulunzi tripod selfie stick has been fantastic to use and I highly recommend it. The item is really good quality. The extendable stick is sturdy and extends and retracts easily. I can see it lasting a long time. The camera screw mount adapter is excellent quality. The screw has clean threads that easily connects to camera or adapter and the base area is large and a good support area for your camera. There are no wobbles or loose connections. The tripod base is also sturdy, and when folded in creates a good handle to hold that is comfortable. Excellent design. The medium length extension is not huge, but enough to get a camera a nice distance away. Of course the longer the extension, the heavier the camera rig is to your hand. At full length I found it ok , but gets heavy over longer periods of 10 minutes or so. Of course, this is a result of the physics of the camera size vs my hand strength, but good to be aware of. A cheaper flimsy stick may be easier on the wrist at those times, but if I only have one stick with me I would prefer the versatility of the ulunzi. I might buy all 3 ulunzi length options to have ready for different situations.
