Better than expected! So useful!
Honestly, my expectations werenât high and Iâve been pleasantly surprised how much weâre enjoying this umbrella. The setup and take-down is unmatched, SO FAST. The corkscrew on the pole will go several turns into dirt/grass and provides a great anchor point, add four more quick stakes into the ground and this thing is firmly planted in the ground. At the park when everyone elseâs portable shelters were going airborne during a large gust of wind, our umbrella didnât budge. We always leave the vented windows about 50% unzipped for more wind resistance. This thing is going to work awesome on the beach. On park days we put a blanket inside for our kids to nap and set a camping loveseat in front to enjoy the shade.

Stakes are junk umbrella is great
The umbrella is big and provides a lot of shade. Is compact when folded. And lightweight. Easy to transport. For the cost of this, I expected better stakes. The stakes that came with it bent with first hit. The head just totally bent over. I was putting them into lake sand. So it wasnât crazy hard.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Bought this to take to the beach. Itâs definitely not good for the beach. Even with help it was impossible to steak it down properly and it canât even handle a light breeze. The umbrella flipped inside out and then was impossible to get it to return to how itâs supposed to be. Such a large waste of money. Do not waste your resources buying this. Look for something that will not get destroyed on the first time out. Another bummer is the window for returning is only 30 days. So I miss out. Bought a piece of garbage and canât return it. Sad!

big, sturdy and relatively lightweight
this is a very well designed and functional unbrella/tent. My beach chairs are high and yet I can sit in them under this umbrella when it is set up as a tent. the fact that it can be a tent or an umbrella is useful. If there is wind, you can use the tent stakes for extra support.Also, the designers included a piece that prevents the umbrella from flipping inside out in strong wind. Last, they included a metal bar on the lower piece that makes it easy to rotate the base deep into the ground.The only con I can think of is that the top is plastic and looks like plastic. Most of the Tommy Bahamas use plastic that looks like canvas.

Compramos la sportsbrella para nuestros fines de semana en la playa y es lo MÃXIMO !! da una muy buena sombra y cabemos Perfecto para nuestro picnic ! La sombrilla es de muy buena calidad, resiste bien el viento fuerte y las ventanitas que trae ayudan para que no se vuele cuando se pone rudo el viento. Ya no vamos a la Playa sin ella , la AMAMOS ! La puedes usar de varios formas y si tamaño es enorme ideal para familias de 3-5 personas con niñosSolo me gustarÃa que viniera con una funda más resistente pues con el uso se empieza. Our friends had one of these at the park to use as a shade, and we liked it so much we bought one too. It’s big enough for my family of four, but packs down well (like an oversized umbrella). Putting it up and taking it down is simple and only takes a minute. It was really tested when we used it at the beach on a windy day. The anchors and screw-in pole kept it firmly in place. Recommended.
