THE YOLOLIV EXTREME POWERHOUSE..!!
WOW.. WOWâ¦and WOW!!! First I must say that YOLOLIV shipped my Extreme super fast.! When I opened the box the first thing noticed was how meticulous it was packaged and how the power adapters were separated. As an owner of Yololivâs Ultra, I was already familiar with how to power on the Extreme. When the screen came to life I couldnât believe the crispness and clarity of the 11.2 inch OLED screen. I noticed that the menu screen is more intuitive, similar to a cell phone. Once I logged into my preexisting Yololiv account I was ready to go. I connected (3) 4K PTZ cameras, (1) Sony A7R 3 4K, (1) Sony A7R 5 4K, along with 1070p webcams through usb. The EXTREMEâs CPU held steady at 44% .NICE. After playing around with it for few days, I took the Extreme to its first assignment in our nationâs capital, Washington DC, to stream a heath symposium for community based organization. I was able to connect (2) cameras 4K via NDI along with (3) networked PTZ cameras 4K. Everything went smoothly for 4 straight hours.!! This was the test that assured me that the Extreme Is the Real POWERHOUSE of all in one streaming devices..!!! Extreme is fast and user friendly. Know your stream destination “requirement”s before hand!!
Updates are regular and helpful. Complicated to set up streaming to platforms if you’re using FB or YouTube, MUST HAVE 100 followers AND be an admin for a FB page if you choose that like our church page. Timeline default works great. You will need 50 SUBSCRIBERS for YouTube before you get stream key. Period. Fast and friendly layout otherwise. Quality build.

Camera capabilities are amazing
We are still in the process of setting this up (it is replacing another live stream system), but the features we have reviewed are awesome. It is amazing that there are so many options for camera use. The HDMI inputs are a given, but the game changer for us is the use of NDI and iPhones as portable cameras. We will be using two PTZ wired cameras and up to 5 iPhones as portable cameras. We are still testing the NDI and iPhone connectivity to the Yolobox Extreme, so I will update later once we have everything set up and running. The unit is built with excellent quality, and again, the software options are amazing.

Just works
I have barley scratched the surface but within a few minutes of unboxing it I pulled of streaming 5 ndi sources and web overlays to youtube and recording locally with zero issues for an entire hockey tournament. The replay feature alone worth the price. Goodbye constant OBS issues and crashes!!FYI antennas really help the wifi signal.

I bought the Yolobox Extreme… an excellent product of very good quality, I recommend it 100%. The product arrived quickly, the quality of the screen is incredible, and the speed with which it processes everything. I’m not afraid to say that for me it’s the best all-in-one we’ve ever seen… excellent Yololiv

Very good but requires caveats and a 45w plug
It’s going to get to be a 5-star device, but the software is not quite there. I have full confidence that it will, but the hardware is excellent. If you’re really going to push the device with lots of NDI and 4k, be aware that you’ll run out of CPU. If you run 8 HDMI in, you’ll be ok. If you have 1 HDMI and a few NDI, it’ll be tight but ok. Just be careful that you can’t do all the things all the time and not cook the CPU. The software should clean up some of the efficiency over time, and the interface and options keep getting better. It’s close enough to an OBS setup that I can now leave the PC behind, and that’s all I ever wanted because I stream from a fairly difficult scaffolding position.Also, a word of advice. Your YE won’t come with [EDIT 1a: will come with] a wall plug; just a USB-C cable. You will NEED a 45W wall charger. Any less, and you’ll have issues. Cheap ones will not put in more power than it uses, and the battery will drain and powering up will have the charge/power light blinking all over. [EDIT 1: Yolo has said they do include a charger brick. After finding out about the wattage requirement, make sure you use the one that comes with, or a rated one. Support said “After checking with my colleagues, it turns out the charger was left out due to a shortage of AU-standard power adapters.” So if you’re not Aussie/NZ, don’t worry I guess. ¯_(ã)_/¯ ]Support is excellent, and the team have the right attitude. This device will get better over time, and I look forward to coming back and adding a 5th star.

Amazon messed me up in the shipment
Exceptional piece of machine if amazon did not mess me up in the shipment by losing it and sending 1 day late. Totally disguting shipping from amazon. Yololiv shipped on time but amazon did not even apoligise and just throw it on the ground 24 hours later. If you are into streaming this is a beast buy it

My name is JJ and I absolutely love my YoloLiv Extreme! We also have the Ultra that we use for different services. What I love best about Yolo is the OUTPUT QUALITY! We keep receiving compliments at my church on our graphics and video quality now that weâve shifted from Zoom to YoloLiv.
